Our story

Our story began in 1988 when our founder Henry Backlund was introduced to someone who manufactured small soaps – perfect for hotel use. With the soaps in the trunk of his car Henry drove over 90 000 km in one year, he was determined to visit every single hotel in Finland. The travelling was worthwhile and soon the first partnerships were established, many of which continue today.

Ever since, Guest Comfort has been a partner to count on, providing innovative amenity products, responsible choices and easy-to-approach customer service that has brought us many new partnerships, extending from hotels, airlines and cruise lines to sports and wellness facilities.

Today we are a top team working right in the centre of Helsinki, Finland. Our mission is to make the hotel experience remarkable by selling guest friendly hotel cosmetics and unique accessories. We achieve that by constantly improving our assortment and teaming up with the most inspiring brands available. We have a great passion for travelling, design, everything eco and having fun.
